At Cove Infant School we believe that the safe use of the internet is integral to the development of Information Communication Technology (ICT) skills which helps prepare young children for a rapidly changing society.

In order to allow your children to access information on the World Wide Web safely the Schools Internet service provider operates a filtering service that complies with Education Authority policy in this area.

Please supervise your children whenever they are using the web and consider the following safety advice.

1. Monitor and review the contents of the sites before your children use them regularly.
2. Use the favourites tab to direct your children to suitable sites.
3. Allow your child to carry out controlled searches under adult supervision.
